Kathy is able to excercise without a brace again!
“I was having constant pain in my right knee and had lost a lot of my mobility. I had been given the options of either a full-leg brace, repetitive cortisone shots, or physical therapy. So I opted for PT and was lucky enough to find Cathy Yi, who is the best physical therapist I’ve ever had (and I’ve had several!). Cathy really listened to me and paid careful attention to my attempts to follow her instructions during the therapy sessions. Sometimes it was very hard, and other times it was practically impossible, but she was responsive and made necessary adjustments. I went to Pt for 5 sessions in about 8 days, and gained tremendous improvement in pain reduction and improved mobility. Now I am able to walk and ride a bike without even wearing my knee brace or taking pain pills. Sometimes I even forget I had a knee problem that caused so much pain. I highly recommend Cathy!”

Marie is staying active and nothing is stopping her now!
“I most recently saw Cathy because I needed help with my posture and muscle strength due to scoliosis. I know there is no cure for scoliosis, but I needed help managing my symptoms, particularly pain and muscle spasms. A massage therapist I use recommended Cathy because of her successful results with other scoliosis patients, and I chose her and Pursuit Physical Therapy because of prior successful therapy for my husband and friends and their individual management and one-on-on treatment protocols. All of my therapy was with Cathy, and she worked with me to be sure I would get the maximum benefit from her treatment within my own abilities. I began experiencing symptom relief within two weeks and continued to improve during the approximately two months Cathy treated me. My posture and mobility have significantly improved, my back is straighter and it is much easier to pick things up off of the floor. I highly recommend Cathy and Pursuit Physical Therapy. They develop individualized treatment plans, work with their patients to stay within the patient’s abilities and provide one-on-one treatment that I have not experienced in other physical therapy practices.”

Read Arline’s Story
Arline is active and pain free again!
“Several months ago I injured my knee (probably in my exercise class) and within a few days I could barely walk, was in constant pain and had a lot of swelling. (I had an MRI and fortunately, nothing was torn requiring surgery.) It was quite debilitating and at that time I turned to my chiropractor, not knowing where else to go for relief. After seeing him every week (sometimes twice a week), for almost 3 months, the pain lessened and I was able to walk more comfortably. The problem was, the last several weeks of my chiropractic visits I hadn’t noticed any more (significant) change; it was as if I had plateaued. About that time I went to see my massage therapist and she recommended me getting a consult with Cathy at Pursuit Physical Therapy. It was the best thing I could have done. Cathy zeroed in on the problem, gave me specific exercises to do (which I was very diligent about doing) and within a few weeks, I saw and felt the results I had hoped for since my injury. I will forever be grateful to Cathy for her kindness, patience and expertise, but most importantly making me feel like my old self again in a relatively short period of time. Cathy was my first experience with physical therapy and I feel so fortunate that I got to know her and find out first hand what a blessing she turned out to be for me. I can’t imagine going anywhere else and it’s so reassuring knowing if I need her, she’ll be there for me! It’s a pleasure to HIGHLY recommend Cathy and Pursuit Physical Therapy.”
