Dr. Ron Miller is the owner and founder of Pursuit Physical Therapy. Dr. Miller received his Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In 2008, he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of South Carolina where he also published his dissertation: “The change in the diffusion of water in normal and degenerative lumbar intervertebral discs following joint mobilization compared to prone lying” to study the effects of manual therapy in the treatment of low back pain using new DWI technology with MRIs. He then went on to complete a Post-Doctoral Residency in Orthopedic Physical Therapy at Florida Hospital, where he furthered his specialized training and published research: “Application of Regional Interdependence in a 20-Year-Old Male Baseball Player with Recurrent Non-Specific Low Back Pain: A Retrospective Case Report”, highlighting a new treatment concept of how impairments in other neighboring joints influence the primary complaint of pain. Dr. Miller is credentialed by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) as a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist. Dr. Miller also has advanced manual therapy and dry needling training with the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. He is considered an expert in orthopedic physical therapy and has published multiple research manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Miller is an active member of the APTA, Florida Physical Therapy Association (FPTA), American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapist (AAOMPT), and is currently elected as an Assembly Representative for the East Central District of the FPTA. Dr. Miller is also adjunct faculty for the University of Central Florida Doctorate of Physical Therapy program where he is actively participating in current physical therapy research. Dr. Miller’s special interests include the treatment of cervical and low back pain, spinal disorders, sports injuries, manual therapy, golf-related injuries, running injuries, and solving complex patient cases that have failed other treatment approaches. He prides himself on getting his patients better faster, by using the most current evidenced-based interventions, and doing what is best for the patient’s goals.
His core belief is that it is not about the physician, the physical therapist, or the insurance company: it is about what is truly best for the patient. Dr. Miller lives in Orlando, FL, and enjoys promoting a healthy lifestyle, running, golfing, fishing, hunting, reading, and spending time with his better half Haley and 5 year old old daughter Sienna.
Michael Fabrick, DPT, Cert. DN

Dr. Michael Fabrick was born and raised in Hanover, Pennsylvania and attended Slippery Rock University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. He then went on to receive his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy in May of 2020. While in school, Dr. Fabrick worked as both the assistant coach and strength and conditioning coach for the SRU Women’s Tennis team. In 2017 he designed both a sports performance and injury prevention program that is still utilized by the tennis team at SRU today. During his final tenure as a Doctoral intern, he trained underneath Todd Ellenbecker, who is one of the world’s leading experts on shoulder rehabilitation and is the Vice President of Medical Services for the ATP World Tour. It was at this time, Dr. Fabrick gained his experience in the rehabilitation of recreational, junior, and elite tennis players.
Upon graduating from school, Dr. Fabrick immediately began working and travelling on the professional tennis tour as a Private Physical Therapist to top American, CiCi Bellis. Here he was tasked with handling all aspects of rehabilitation, match preparation, and physical recovery efforts while training in the States and traveling to tournaments abroad. His expertise lies in treating upper extremity injuries, but also enjoys helping patients with back, hip, or leg pain. He is passionate about connecting with his patients and finding a way to lead them back to full health. Additionally, Dr. Fabrick also has his training in advanced manual therapy techniques and dry needling through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy in order to further specialize.
In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities like tennis, golf, spikeball, frisbee, disc golf, hiking, and swimming. When he’s not being active, he enjoys the challenge of learning guitar, finding new music, and serving others. He loves being challenged to become better at something new and achieve lofty goals. Most importantly, he is passionate about his faith and serving in his local church and community.
Maryann Daniels, PT, MCMT, IDN
Physical Therapist Certified in Dry Needling Mastery Certified in Manual Therapy Pelvic Floor and Post-Partum Specialist
Maryann was originally born in Connecticut but moved to Florida with her family at the age of 9 and she grew up in Jupiter, Florida. She then went to college at the University of Central Florida for her undergraduate degree and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy in 1996.
She started her career by gaining valuable experience with orthopedic patients at locally here Florida Hospital Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. Then, in 2002, she moved to California where she received advanced training in manual therapy through Hands On Seminars and Dr. Dimitrios Kostopoulos, DPT, MD, PHD, DSc. There in California, she worked at an outpatient orthopedic clinic where she became proficient with spinal, pelvic, SI Joint, and various other orthopedic dysfunctions.
After starting a family with her husband, she moved back to the Central Florida area and began working at a physician owned orthopedic practice in 2007. Here she continued her advanced manual therapy training and gained valuable knowledge while working alongside some of the top orthopedic physicians in Orlando. In 2014 she received her Mastery Certification in Manual Therapy from Hands On Seminars. Then in 2021 she became certified in Intramuscular Dry Needling from the University of St Augustine. She then continued to become proficient with various orthopedic dysfunctions with developing a love for the pelvic girdle and spine. Additionally, she received advance training in women’s health and pelvic floor dysfunctions through Herman Wallace Training.
Maryann has developed a very strong background in biomechanics and orthopedics which enables her to provide the highest level of care for her patients. She believes strongly in integrating a hands-on- therapy with exercise and education to allow her clients to learn about their bodies and take ownership of their health. In her free time, she loves being active with her husband and kids. She enjoys camping, biking, and going to the beach.
Kayla Cook, DPT, HPS, CSCS

Dr. Kayla Cook was born and raised in Northern California and received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from California State University in Sacramento. She then received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of St Augustine for Health Sciences. After doing her physical therapy clinical rotations in Florida, she loved it so much that she decided to move to Florida. Kayla has extensive manual training through her training at St. Augustine and then built it through her clinical rotations where she worked under our very own Maryann Daniels, PT where she continued to learn advanced manual therapy techniques. From there, Kayla took an invested interest in the sacro-iliac joint and took advanced training from renowned specialist Dr. Hesch and the Hesch Institute to earn her certification as a Sacroiliac Joint Practitioner. Kayla also specializes in working with patients with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). As an EDS patient herself, Kayla has a unique insight on the condition and how to work with patient’s symptoms. She spent many years herself going through the motions with no answers and wants to make sure that no one else goes through the same experience and everyone is heard. She has advanced training with EDS which allows her to perform the most latest and innovative techniques with EDS patients.
Kayla has a background as a volleyball athlete and coached competitively for 9 years working with young athletes from ages 12-18. She has taken her love of coaching and applied it into a continued love for physical therapy and analyzing and breaking down movements and teaching others. As a former athlete and coach, Kayla has a love for mechanics and getting to the root of a problem. She likes to address mechanics with manual therapy in conjunction with strengthening in order to help her patients achieve their goals. She enjoys working with young athletes, volleyball plyers, cervical pain pathologies, and sacro-iliac dysfunctions. In her free time she loves to travel, be outdoors camping and hiking, attending sporting events, and has a goal of going to every MLB ballpark.

Jade was born in Orlando, Florida but spent her childhood in Germany and England. She attended Stetson University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Her passion is helping others and making a positive impact in people’s lives. In her free time, Jade enjoys exercising, spending time with her 2 dogs, acting in short films, and trying new activities.
As Pursuit’s concierge specialist her role will include answering patient’s questions and helping to ensure you receive the best possible care before, during, and after treatment has started. She will also assist with scheduling initial evaluations, treatment sessions, and social media marketing. We are thrilled to have Jade join the Pursuit family and feel this will benefit our patients greatly by offering an additional level of support and guidance.

Dr. Raymond Butts graduated with honors from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science in Human Factors Engineering and served as a 1st Armored Division Army officer in Bosnia-Kosovo and Iraq. He also received a post-graduate, International Masters of Neuroscience from the University of Tubingen, Germany, where he investigated central mediated aspects of chronic pain with magnetoencephalography and fMRI. In addition, Dr. Butts completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Doctorate of Philosophy in motor rehabilitation from the University of South Carolina. His PhD thesis explored the use of transcranial magnetic and direct current stimulation to disinhibit the motor cortex and facilitate plasticity-dependent, motor recovery. He is one of 350 physical therapists in the U.S. to have earned a Diploma in Osteopractic.
In 2022, he also became a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy, a title earned by only 2% of the physical therapy profession. Dr. Butts has a strong track record of teaching and research. He has authored or co-authored 30 publications and 31 scholarly BLOG articles on physical therapy topics. Over the course of 16 years, Dr. Butts taught anatomy/physiology and biomechanics to pre healthcare professionals at Midlands Technical College and the University of South Carolina, respectively, for which he was awarded the distinguished graduate award. He was also an Assistant Professor at Gannon University, where he taught gross anatomy, neuroscience, and advanced orthopedics to Doctor of Physical Therapy graduate students. From 2013 to 2022, he coordinated the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical and taught over 500 seminars nationally and internationally on spinal manipulation, dry needling, research methodology, cadaver-based anatomy and pain science. He recently presented at the 2023 American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Conference (St. Louis, MO), Ecole d’Assas Physiotherapy School (Paris, France), and the Centre Européen d’Enseignement en Rééducation et Réadaptation Fonctionnelle (Paris, France).
Dr. Butts has treated patients with orthopaedic and chronic pain conditions since 2008. During 2023, he served as clinical manager and research director for Symmetry Physical Therapy, a concierge-style PT practice in downtown Miami. A recent part of a medical mission to Armenia and Lebanon to help soldiers and families ravaged by war, he consistently strives to provide exceptional care and achieve extraordinary, patient-centered outcomes. Dr. Butts is a former competitive rower and has had the unique opportunity to compete in numerous international and world-class rowing championships. He enjoys the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment where quality patient care is the standard.

Dr. Benjamin England began his collegiate career at The Ohio State University in Nutrition/Pre-Med and completed his baccalaureate science degree in Exercise Science from Indiana Wesleyan University with honors. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. England worked as a facility manager for the recreation and wellness center on campus, personal trainer for NCAA Division I and NCCAA Division I/II athletes, along with training clients who have summitted Mount Everest. His fascination with health optimization naturally led him to publish the research, Effects of Simulated Altitude on Maximal Oxygen Uptake and Inspiratory Fitness, studying various ways to optimize human performance and push the limits on outcomes in professional sports. He then went on to complete his Certification in Strength and Conditioning (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He continued to train clients at the world renowned, The WorXout in Fort Wayne, IN, while completing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Trine University. He co-authored research, Decision Making Influences Tibial Impact Accelerations During Lateral Cutting, looking into research that could impact injury prevention in organized sports, striving to solve human cognitive impacts on performance.
Shortly after graduation, Dr. England completed his Certification in Dry Needling, Certification in Spinal Manipulation, Diploma in Osteopractic®, and Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy (AAMT). He is a Fellow in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT) through the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy (AAOMPT), a distinguished designation granted only to around 1-3% of physical therapist’s country wide. Dr. England has taught hundreds of post-graduate training seminars in dry needling, spinal manipulation, and technologies coursework through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy within the Dry Needling Institute, as well as the Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy. He has continued his own training of advanced study of concussions, vestibular disorders, TMJ disorders, and complex connective tissue and auto-immune disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system. Dr England has a passion for integration of clinical research into his own practice, accelerating outcomes, and breaking conventional medical barriers. His day usually is filled with treating patients, and studying new research journals, podcasts, or new books during each moment he can. He strives to work himself out of a job and help patients/clients find their passion and achieve their healthcare goals for decades to come.
He continues to live and serve the community of Fort Wayne alongside his wife, raising their two children. His dog London England is one of the best dogs you’ll meet around and will usually be waiting at the window the minute he comes home. He is a guitarist, avid workout enthusiast, and loves being a part of his church and local community. To the dismay of the Hoosiers, Boilermakers, and every Indiana team, he does like The Ohio State football/basketball teams and the Cincinnati Bengals and relishes his time he can go back to the Buckeye State when he can.
