Dr. Ron Miller with LaurieFor 20 years I have suffered with a constant headache, cervical pain, and exhaustion from the pain. This was due to 2 car accidents that caused 3 herniated discs in my upper neck area. Through the years I have done literally EVERYTHING! I have been to chiropractors, did traction, TENS unit, acupuncture, nerve blocks more than once, physical therapy several times, and wore neck braces. NONE of these things helped at all, and actually some made it worse. The only help has been seeing my massage therapist once a week and pain medication. I continued to be active since all 3 neurosurgeons I have seen told me I must keep going. None of them felt surgery was an option. However, there were some days where I had to just stop and lay in bed for a day or two to let things “settle down”. In the past couple of years it has been getting worse so more pain meds which is not a good thing. I really could not imagine what I could do to help nor could I fathom living the rest of my life with this chronic pain. My massage therapist at Vitality Anew, LeeAnne Trimble, heard about Ron and shared with me I might try him. I had nothing to lose so I started seeing Ron. I am probably going to be one of his best testimonies because my pain is nearly gone. Ron has done some manipulation techniques, strengthening exercises, and some minor adjustments that have made the difference. Now that I am 99% better I have been able to play tennis without medication for days before and after, I have gotten back to sewing, I have been able to sleep better, and have definitely had more energy. I do a lot of work at my computer for our custom home business. Now I am able to do that without being in misery. My range of motion has increased tremendously. Though I still have a small amount of pain which Ron would like to see gone, I am so thankful to be able to have such a tiny amount that I hardly notice it. The headaches are completely gone. He has definitely been a miracle worker and answer to prayer for me! Laurie K.
New research is showing that physical therapy shows same outcome as many surgical procedures without the complications that are associated with surgeries.  If you could get pain free without surgery, without the risky complications of surgery, without medications, wouldn’t you want that? 4.  Any health care professional can perform physical therapy If someone is treating you with physical therapy and they are not a physical therapist, it is not physical therapy!  Stop and call us at 407-494-8835.  Here is a perfect example of this:
Dr. Ron Miller with MikeI was recently involved in a car accident where I was struck from behind by a school bus. I later had an MRI of my cervical spine and was diagnosed with two herniated discs in my neck. I felt a wave of unimaginable stress overtake me when I heard the results. I began physical therapy at a referred outpatient clinic not far from my house. I was in more pain as I was leaving the clinic then when I had entered. I decided to give it another try until I discovered there was not one licensed physical therapist in the whole entire facility. They were all massage therapists claiming to provide “physical therapy” to their patients. Not one “therapist” could legitimately explain to me how the treatment was going to help me. I felt scammed, deceived, and frustrated. I had wasted my precious time and money. My pain had worsened with time, until I met Dr. Ron Miller. I began shadowing Dr. Miller to suffice requirements for graduate school when he first heard of my story. He proceeded to ask me a few questions and within minutes he understood my prognosis with confidence. Within a cycle of a couple different exercises my pain began to subside. Dr. Miller also gave me exercises to do at home and sent videos to my email reassuring that I understood how to perform them properly. I continued my therapy at home and was astonished that within 10 days I was feeling 100% and pain free. I had regained full range of motion and was able to start strengthening again. I feel so blessed to have run into Dr. Miller and to be able to resolve my pain. In my opinion he is the best physical therapist in town and I recommend him to anyone who wants to be pain free fast!  Mike A.
Also, I have to say this because I am seeing this a lot when patients are consulting me for there pain.  MAT or muscle activation techniques performed by a personal trainer is NOT PHYSICAL THERAPY.  If it worked for your pain, you would not be seeing me for your pain right now. 5.  Physical therapy is not covered by insurance Pile of billsPhysical Therapy is covered by most insurance plans, but (whether you know this or not) everyone is going towards high deductible health insurance plans and some of my patients have deductible $3000-$6000.  So you will have to pay out of your pocket for everything up to your deductible costing you THOUSANDS of dollars! If standard care costs $4000 to get you better and pain free, we can get you better in $1500-$2000!  Cheaper and saving you money!  Also, we will file a claim to your insurance so it will count towards your deductible and may get some money reimbursed. 6.  Pursuit Physical Therapy is cheaper than other health care and will save you money Old and New Approach Diagram This is actually true statement.   Look at number 5.  (I guess I need to change the title to 6 myths).  Look at the picture below highlighting the cost effectiveness  in a low back pain case example from Virginia Mason Medical Center.         7.  I can do physical therapy myself You can do exercises (if there are the right exercises) by yourself, but exercise, although essential, is only one piece of the puzzle.  Again you can just exercise for 4 weeks and the pain will eventually go away.  Acute pain will spontaneously go away in 4-6 weeks so….. if you just would do daily leisure walking, rest, and probably do nothing,  it would go away by 6 weeks anyway.  WHAT! YES.  My question is: with my treatment approach, can I get you better and pain free in 2 weeks?
